Elaborating on the ideomotor effect. Once you understand the meaning of the ideomotor you will find that what I encounter using muscle monitoring makes sense.
The ideomotor is the notion that throughout the day your body makes
involuntary movements based on signals running through your nervous
system. There is nothing superficial going on, so no one should feel
endangered other then those who do not know their body and the
sensations one can have.
Now, you can fabricate a device so to record and measure these signals or
you use a pendulum, ouija board, dowsing rod ... or you can use the one
thing within everyones reach: the muscle monitor.
Listening to Conversational Hynosis I stumbled on Framing, Preframing, Reframing, Deframing. So I GOOGLED on these items and I found ...
2. The SKILL of Framing.
Learning to PreFrame, ReFrame, and DeFrame has been one of the most useful skills I've developed over the years. This skill will make a huge impact on the overall emotional stability of both you and I.
Those who are not effective at this skill will more than likely require drugs of some sort over a relatively consistent period of time at some period of their life in order to assist them in maintaining their emotional equilibrium.
Yes, I do believe that chemical imbalances causes some of the chronic emotional instability that exists; however, I also believe that most of the chemical imbalances that occur within an individual do so because of the individuals inability to properly frame various life events and experiences.
The ability to frame internal emotions and external events -- both within yourself and others -- is one of the most powerful skills you can choose to develop. It will also assist you in being much more resilient which is an essential quality of self-made multi-millionaires. http://www.clubrhino.com/public/327.cfm
Specialized Kinesiology is a framework of techniques for correcting problems with energy (emotional, chemical. structural, Chi-like) , heavily depending on the outcome of what we call "muscle monitoring" (muscle testing).
The client relaxing lying on the table or in whatever position, you (as the consultant) focusing and interpreting what the information is holding in store, both working up to the contract that whatever happens will benefit the client, the muscle monitor will lead the way!
The muscle monitor is that medium of measuring we ulitmately use to know what kind of "problem" we are handling with. Be it neurological, emotional, chemical or Chi-like.
And trust me a session is done when the muscle monitor says it is done!
In my quest for learning to perform hypnosis I went to Corte Madera to spend a month at the "HYPNOTHERAPY TRAINING INSTITUTE" (2002). And as you know one has always to find ways to perfect your style. So the last years I searched the internet for good informational learning material.
Last year I bought DVD's of Gill Boyne. He presented instant trance inductions. He did the hypnosis already. In his own amusing relaxed way. I even landed on the site of Tom Silver. I am impressed by Tom because of his flamboyant, analytical and down to earth approach of producing instant deep trance. This I can state after watching his very instructional dvd's.
In one of his dvd's he related to Gerald Kein. So I looked him up and lo and behold I was able to see him in earlier times. Nevertheless it was a good piece of action to look at learning to do instant deep states.
All these video/DVD's have broadend my way of scope and helped me perfect my consulting even more. I will keep on viewing them because ... 1 time watching is not enough!
Just now I read this text [see below] to realize that there is another way of looking at your behaviour. And that is to RECOGNIZE that in stress situations you behave like you have learned. The key question ... Who are you acting out!
Becoming aware! To notice this is happening is yet another way of becoming who you really are. Congruent with yourself in every aspect of life.
A Surprise Insight: 1987
I was stressed and tired at the time. Michael, my six year old had teased me just one too many times. I was ready to snap. Then it happened. He did it again. My small frame grew tight and taut, my shoulders raised, I turned sharply, loomed up into what must have seemed like a monster to a small child, arm poised ready to strike. I didn't.
In an instant something happened, I could see myself as if I was standing in front of a mirror. (Grinder 1995) Who was I? I had turned the clock back; I was my father, angry, being physically threatening. Michael was me as a child, shaking hovering, fearful, wide-eyed and innocent, what have I done? My body slumped; tears fell from my face. Instead of hitting my son, I drew him gently to my body and hugged him, sobbing.
KinQuest.nl is a test blog for those who are searching for information on Hypnosis & Specialized Kinesiology.
For a starter I like to mention how important it is to project the intention in what your are doing. Some think it is a bad thing to project. They think it is manipulative. Alas for those thinkers. Like all doers, I acknowledge what hypnosis propagates ... it is very much important to project an outcome.
No projection, no flow of energy, no effect in the things that you do. And that is what you want don't you. Mucho effect in your treatment.
